No. There is no law requiring you to get more than one estimate.
This is common and is not a problem. Most company appraisers are very qualified and can write a quality damage appraisal. You can leave the vehicle at our shop for the inspection or have them inspect the vehicle at your home or work. Just bring us their appraisal and we will take it from there.
No. The vehicle is yours and you decide where the repairs will be done. You should choose a shop you feel comfortable with and let the insurance company deal with the shop you choose. Nichols Body Shop will be glad to work with any insurance company.

It is not unusual to have hidden damage. Broken parts may be left at the accident scene or damage may not be visible during the initial inspection. We will inform you and the insurance company of any necessary changes to the repair estimate and provide the needed documentation to allow the insurance company to pay all that is needed for a quality repair.
Yes. Nichols Body Shop has relationships with several rental agencies that will pick you up at our shop or at your home or work. When your vehicle is ready just return the rental and the agency will bring you to the shop.
Nichols Body Shop will make every effort to repair your vehicle correctly and get it back to you as soon as possible. We will order parts as soon as the repairs are approved and give you a target date for delivery. If any additional damage is found we will notify you of any delay and adjust the target date as needed.
We will call or email you with updates. We can even send you photos of the repair process. Also you are welcome to drop by anytime or call us to check progress.
We do not require any money to be paid until repairs are completed. We do require the bill to be paid in full when the vehicle is picked up unless other arrangements are made in advance.
We accept cash, MasterCard and Visa. Insurance checks made to the customer may be endorsed and used as payment for repairs.
Photo estimates are very common these days and almost all are incomplete. There is no need to argue with the insurance company. Just let them write what they see and give us a copy of the estimate they write. We will disassemble the vehicle and provide the insurance company with a list of any missed damages or procedures.
We see this on almost every claim. Aftermarket Parts are inferior knockoffs designed to save insurance companies money. Our policy is to only use parts approved by your vehicle’s manufacturer. We have agreements with our parts suppliers that allow us to “price match” most Aftermarket parts. That satisfies almost every discrepancy. If any parts cannot be “price matched” we will notify you and discuss options. We believe if you did not have inferior aftermarket parts before the accident then you should not be asked to accept them in your repair.
